Our Holiday Squads are fun, full-day sessions where children aged 5-13 can explore drama, art, and stop-frame animation in a safe, welcoming space.
Led by our friendly team of creative coaches, each session gives young people the chance to express themselves, build confidence, and try something new - no experience needed. Every child is supported as an individual and encouraged to share their voice, their way,
We believe creativity is for everyone. That's why our Holiday Squads are designed to feel less like childcare and more like an adventure.
Pick individual days or book all three each week - it's up to you.

Tuesday - Thursday | 9am - 3pm | Ages 5-13
Location: BHVA Studios, The Yards, Kettering
Two Weeks. Two Creative Adventures
Across the Easter holidays, we explore the world of Super Mario from two different angles.
Week 1 focuses on characters - who they are, how they move, how they react and how they work together.
Week 2 focuses on levels - lava, underwater, sky and castle worlds where teamwork and problem-solving take centre stage.
Each day follows the same steady structure: warm up, explore, build, reflect and finish calmly - so children feel secure while they stretch themselves creatively.
Week 1
Tuesday - Drama
Heroes, Helpers, and Bosses!
Children will explore heroes, helpers and boss characters through movement and short team challenges. They will build small story moments together, learning how characters react, solve problems and support each other.
Wednesday - Musical Theatre
Bowser Takes the Stage!
Voice and movement will come together as children explore big emotions through song and choreography. They will build a group performance in manageable sections and share it with confidence.
Thursday - Stop Frame Frame Animation
Pixel Mario and Friends!
Children will design pixel-style characters and bring them to life using stop-frame animation - learning how small movements create big impact and screen their finished clips.
Week 2
Tuesday - Drama
Lava, Sky and Castle Worlds!
Children will move through lava, underwater, sky and castle worlds, adapting how they travel and work as a team - building short “start to finish” level journeys with obstacles and solutions.
Wednesday - Musical Theatre
Mario Bros Rap and Movement!
Rhythm, rap and game-inspired movement will take centre stage. Children will rotate roles, design simple props and create a tight, high-energy group performance.
Thursday - Stop Frame Frame Animation
Build a Mario Level!
Children will design pixel worlds and animate characters travelling through obstacles - exploring cause and effect, problem-solving and creative sequencing as their level comes to life.
